Product Marketing Specialist
This is an exciting time to join the Oxford PV journey, as we are entering the commercial market. As Product Marketing Specialist you will need to be both strategic and hands-on, taking full responsibility for our product marketing research, campaign designs, implementation and management, focused on delivering high-impact and measurable results for the business.
Working closely with our Senior Leadership team, Business Development, and Product teams, you will take the lead in implementing the Oxford PV strategy for the launch of our first products to market.
You will be responsible for:
- Conducting research to understand market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities.
- Designing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote products.
- Coordinating the launch and release of new products, including planning events and creating promotional materials.
- Analysing sales data and campaign performance to assess effectiveness and make improvements.
- Working with various teams, including sales and commercial, and product development, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
- Developing marketing content such as product descriptions, brochures, and social media posts.
Essential skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in marketing or a similar role in the cleantech field, experience with the solar sector highly desirable
- Experience with the solar sector highly desirable.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Strategic mindset.
- Comfortable dealing with senior stakeholders.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Strong experience using various websites and digital platforms.
- Willing to travel and able to work across multiple time zones.
Desirable skills:
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of SEO/SEM, web analytics, and CRM software.
- Proficient or fluent in German language
- A science background is desirable, but not essential.
This role could be based preferentially in the UK, Germany or possibly in the North-East USA with a regular presence in one of our current office locations in the UK and Germany and regular travel to the other sites.
Candidates outside of the UK will be required to spend the first three months at the Headquarters in Oxford, UK.
