Our perovskite is a thin film photovoltaic technology, made with abundantly available, low cost synthetic materials. It is 200 times more effective at absorbing the sun’s energy compared to conventional silicon solar cells. For this reason, it can be applied as a thin film – less than one micron thick, to silicon solar cells, to dramatically improve their efficiency.
