David Fyfe retires after five successful years as chairman

Oxford PVTM – The Perovskite CompanyTM, the leader in the field of perovskite solar cells, today announced a succession in chairmanship.

David Fyfe, Oxford PV’s Chairman of five years, has decided to retire and step aside. Christian Langen, a solar industry expert and independent Non-executive Director of the company since 2015, has been appointed Chairman of the Board.

Frank P. Averdung, Oxford PV's CEO said, “On behalf of the entire team at Oxford PV, I would like to thank David for his leadership and support over the last five years. His guidance and insightful observations have significantly contributed to the success of the company. Under his chairmanship, the company has raised over £30 million and has grown to where we are today – global leaders in perovskite solar cell technology.”

Christian Langen added, “David’s stewardship has brought the company to a very exciting place, with an extremely promising future ahead of it. We wish him the very best for his retirement.”
